The Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland was established in 1997 by a group of Lakeland residents to provide an effective means for people who care about this community to be part of shaping its future. As of today, the CFGL holds over 170 funds with assets totaling $90 million, and has granted more than $87 million to non-profits. Through philanthropic services, strategic investments and community leadership, the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland helps people support the causes they care about, now and for generations to come.
